A bystander recorded a video of the incident in which the off-duty agent performed a wild dance at a bar in downtown Denver, which culminated in a handstand, causing the gun to drop to the ground and fire as he attempted to retrieve it, Reuters reports.

The Denver Police Department said the agent “was dancing at a night club when his firearm became dislodged from its waistband holster and fell onto the floor. When the agent retrieved his handgun an unintended discharge occurred.”

Another patron took a bullet to their lower leg, incurring a non-life-threatening injury.

The Denver District Attorney’s office will decide whether to pursue charges against the agent.
