And finally… running with the bills
A group of Italians took the tradition of running during Pamplona’s bull festival too far after they tried to abscond from a restaurant without paying.
Officers from Spain’s regional Navarra police force stopped 15 people from making off without paying their €620 bill, and even made them leave a tip.
The festival, which began last week and attracts over a million visitors to the city, sees hundreds of people participate in the encierros – the practice of running in front of six bulls who charge through the narrow Pamplona streets to the bullring.
