Domonique Brown, a teacher in Detroit, Michigan, was fired after a parent complained to school officials about the rap videos she uploaded online.

She was told the parent complained “that you’re a bad influence because you’re a rapper”, Fox 2 Detroit reports.

On her final day of work after being dismissed, Ms Brown filmed a music video with a handful of her students, which has since gone viral.

She is now consulting a lawyer on bringing legal action against the school.
