And finally… one for the road

A video which went viral on Twitter shows what appears to be an extremely drunk man barely keeping himself upright after crashing his car into other parked vehicles.

Despite the man trying repeatedly to climb back into the driver seat with his keys, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department let him walk away, to the incredulity of bystanders who shouted at officers.

Katy Wicker, who shot the video, told FOX 11: “Everything you learn about what a drunk person is like, he showed every sign of that, from slurring his words to not being able to stand up straight.”

Onlookers shouted at officers after they let the man walk away, and one woman whose car was damaged has threatened to sue both the driver and the LAPD.

The LAPD confirmed that it has opened an investigation into the conduct of the officers on the scene.
