And finally… master baiters
OnlyFans is facing a class action lawsuit led by a disgruntled customer who accuses the adult content platform of misleading with the words “full access”.
The complaint filed with a California court alleges that the platform pulls a “bait-and-switch” on customers by promising “full access” if they subscribe to their chosen creator.
In practice, most top earners on the platform provide limited content to subscribers – regardless of how much they pay per month – while most is only available for further fees.
“In essence, OnlyFans promises a buffet, but provides only a menu,” the complaint alleges.
The plaintiff, David Gardner, is seeking permission to bring the lawsuit on behalf of OnlyFans subscribers across the US, “likely to include millions of individuals”.
A similar lawsuit was recently brought in New York, Complex reports.
