And finally… lotto cheat

A man from Alabama was arrested last week after he stole a lottery ticket dispenser from a liquor store - before returning to claim his cash prize.

Richard D. Morgan, 41, attempted to cash a stolen ticket at the store around eight hours after police responded to its burglary.

Following his arrest, Mr Morgan confessed to stealing the dispenser, and other lottery tickets were subsequently recovered from his home.

According to the Panama City News Herald, the stolen dispenser was stocked with tickets totalling $7,505 in value.

Mr Morgan has been charged with burglary, dealing in stolen property, resisting arrest with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer.
