Owners of realistic sex dolls have been reminded to dispose of their erstwhile companions properly following a series of mistaken reports of dead bodies.
Police in Germany responded to a report of a dead body in a Bavarian village last weekend only to find a remarkably convincing sex doll, The Times reports.
The doll was returned to its owner, who initially feigned ignorance but eventually admitted a violation of waste disposal laws.
A similar incident took place in northern Germany last summer, when a 30-person team fished what they had thought was a woman’s body from the river Elbe.
