And finally… grounded with tough love

A father is pressing fraud charges against his teenage daughter after she used his credit card to buy a plane ticket to visit her boyfriend in Germany.The love-lorn teenager was hauled off the flight before it departed when the father got a call from his bank about possible fraudulent charges from a travel agency.

Police said the man’s daughter had used his personal information without permission to get a credit card and buy a $1,200 plane ticket to fly to Europe to see her boyfriend.

The incident happened last Sunday at around 9:15 a.m. at the Cherry Capitol Airport in Michigan.

Traverse City Police said the girl was released into the custody of her parents but added that her father wants her charged with credit card fraud.
