And finally… got your goat

Officers in Oakland in the US state of Maine posted on Facebook that they had responded to a call of a goat chasing after a woman down a street, WMTW8 reports.

“You really never know what you are going to encounter when responding to a call of a woman being chased down the street. Will it be nothing, could you be getting into a physical altercation? Well this suspect was a little of both,” Oakland police said on Facebook.

The goat was restrained by one officer using “freshly certified de-escalation skills,” the post added.

The suspect was returned to its owner – and no charges were filed.
