And finally… ginnocent

UK supermarkets Marks & Spencer and Aldi are embroiled in a legal battle for the second time this year over a bottle of gin with a built-in light.

M&S is seeking a High Court injunction against Aldi selling its blackberry and clementine gin liqueur, which it says infringes on the design of its Light Up gin.

Both bottles contain an LED which illuminates golden flakes suspended in the drink, the BBC reports. The Aldi product is £6 cheaper.

M&S previously sued Aldi over a caterpillar cake which it alleged was too similar to its own caterpillar cake.

Aldi tweeted: “Our lawyers gonna be so rich they be shopping in @marksandspencer soon #FreeCuthbert #Round2”.
