And finally… garden leave
Police are investigating the unexpected theft of a Livingston woman’s front garden.
Sue Scorer, 30, told The Herald that the artificial turf she bought for £3,000 had disappeared overnight.
The grass was installed for her sons, eight-year-old Aaron and four-year-old Charlie, to play football.
Ms Scorer said: “I was washing my hands when I looked out my window and saw the trampoline was on the other side of the garden. I opened the window to see what was going on and saw all the grass was gone and the fence was down.
“I thought I was dreaming. I was in shock, I couldn’t believe it. I called the police straight away to report what had happened.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed an investigation is underway.
