And finally… Führer has no clothes

The co-leader of the far-right Alternative for Germany party was forced to walk home in colourful shorts after someone stole his clothes while he went swimming at a lake near his apartment in Potsdam.

Witnesses said the thief shouted “No swimming fun for Nazis!” as he stole the clothes of 77-year-old Alexander Gauland.

The police were summoned to the lake and Mr Gauland filed a criminal complaint, the regional Märkische Allgemeine reports.

Photographs taken by witnesses show the scantily-clad leader being escorted home by police officers with head hanging low.
