A Catholic clergyman filmed snorting a line of what could be cocaine has taken leave from the priesthood.
Father Stephen Crossan is reported to have sniffed the drug with a £10 note in Banbrdige, County Down last July.
In the video, which shows a room full of Nazi memorabilia, he says: “I shouldn’t” the Sun on Sunday reports.
Father Crossan said he took the drugs but that “It was just the one night and that was it.”
As for the Nazi memorabilia, the priest said he was not a Nazi and that he simply collected historical items from various countries.
He added he was on sick leave for depression at the time.
