And finally… cokehead and cruffins

A man in Ohio was arrested after he phoned 911 to tell police his wife had stolen something from him – his stash of cocaine.

Police found Robert Daniel Collins, 39, in possession of a glass pipe which he said was for smoking marijuana.

He was taken to Stark County Jail on misdemeanour charges of possession of “drug paraphernalia” as well as misuse of the 911 emergency number.

Mr Collins faces up to 60 days in jail and $500 in fines if convicted.

Police did not say whether the allegedly stolen cocaine was found.

A burglar in San Francisco broke into a bakery and stole not food but over 200 recipes, including one for “cruffins” – a croissant and muffin hybrid.

The thief left cash and computers untouched at Mr Holmes Bakehouse, which has only been open for three months.

Cruffin chef Ry Stephen, 28, told The New York Times that the recipe does not include his dough-making technique, which he said involves mixing it as well as buttering and folding it before baking it over a few days, thereby revealing some of his technique.

Giving away more secrets, the article states the butter is imported from Isigny-sur-Mer in France.

One reviewer on website Yelp said: “Cruffins are amazing, brioche is top-notch, the amelie amann is a flaky piece of heaven. Only caveat: GET THERE EARLY! Seriously, they sell out of most stuff by noon. This place is that good.”
