A man who jumped off a bridge and was miraculously unhurt told police that someone had “dared him to jump”.
Local firefighters found the man sitting on rocks near one of the pillars supporting the bridge in Vancouver, Vancouver is Awesome reports.
He was brought back to shore by the Canadian Coast Guard and then sent to a hospital, where he first spoke with police.
Police said they were satisfied that the 29-year-old man was not attempting to harm himself.
The man told police that “he had been using meth and that someone had dared him to jump”, a police spokesperson said.
