Now Zeng, 39, will finally serve her sentence in jail.

A woman in Florida facing DUI charges after she crashed her car into a building told police they should arrest her dog as it was to blame.

Unsurprisingly, this did not work.

Christina Anne Marie Lamoreaux was caught by police fleeing from the crash reports local newspaper the Daily Commercial.

Officers discovered her smelling of alcohol and confused in her apartment.

She said the dog was responsible for causing the crash.

She was jailed after she refused a sobriety test and resisted arrest.
