Agricultural expertise at Thorntons grows

Chris Lindley and Linsey Barclay-Smith

Two lawyers from Edinburgh and Perth have been accredited as specialists in agricultural law, increasing the breadth of expertise in the sector at Thorntons Solicitors.

Partners Linsey Barclay-Smith from Edinburgh and Chris Lindley from the Perth and Forfar offices became the third and fourth members of the Thorntons land and rural business team to be accredited.

Fellow Thorntons colleagues Colin Clark, senior solicitor, in Cupar and consultant Elizabeth Barr in Perth are both accredited specialists in agricultural law.

Colin Graham, chairman of Thorntons, said: “I am very proud of the range of specialisms that we have available across our network of offices, which ensures we can deliver expert advice when and where clients need it.

“The accreditations of Partners Linsey and Chris further supports our ambitions for targeted development across all of our specialist sectors throughout 2018 and beyond.”
