The other newly promoted associates are: Emma Donaldson, who specialises in advising on wills, tax planning, trusts and estates; Lesley Grant from the firm’s employment law team, who practices contentious and non-contentious employment law and is experienced in advising both employers and employees on a wide range of legal issues; and Jamie Reekie, a solicitor advocate who works alongside Tony Jones QC in BTO’s Commercial dispute resolution team in Edinburgh.

Chairman Alan Borthwick said: “I am delighted that these ten hard-working individuals from a range of disciplines have been promoted and that their contribution to the firm and to the clients with whom they work has been acknowledged.”

Mr Borthwick added: “We are very excited by all of the recent developments at BTO and by our ongoing growth. The latest series of promotions is a strong reflection of the vast range of skills and expertise we have at the firm.”
