New trainees at Ledingham Chalmers

Four new trainees have joined Ledingham Chalmers.

Robert Gordon University graduates Hollie Cavanagh, Andrew Watts and Fiona Neilson have joined the residential property, litigation and rural teams respectively while University of Aberdeen graduate Naomi Davies has begun her traineeship in the private client specialism.

In addition, five trainees will move into their second year. In Aberdeen, Fraser Blair and Natalia Milne will move to corporate; Scott Moir will work with the commercial property team; and Connor Knowles with litigation.

In Edinburgh, Lauren Doherty moves to litigation.

And three of the firm’s current second year trainees will remain with the firm as newly qualified solicitors: Gillian Young continues her current placement in the Stirling rural team; Natalie Coll stays with the private client teams in Aberdeen and Inverness; and Alanah Mills joins employment law.

Trainee Rosie Allan, who joined the litigation team in May will carry on working in the same team in Aberdeen.

Chairman and partner Jennifer Young said: “Securing a position that’s a great starting point for their legal careers is always a bit of a nerve-wracking time for trainees, whether they’ve just graduated, or are newly qualified.

“Each of these talented individuals brings something special to our firm as the next generation of our profession, and we look forward to working closely with them over the coming months and years.”
