Law at Dundee takes top spot in Guardian University Guide 2017

The University of Dundee has the top-rated law course in Scotland, according to the Guardian University Guide 2017, published this week.

Dundee placed 8th for law in the UK, rising 26 places in the rankings year-on-year. It was part of a strong overall showing by the University which lifted it ten places in the overall University Guide tables to 28th.

Dundee’s performance has been boosted by excellent results for student satisfaction and graduate prospects.

“This is an excellent performance which reflects on the hard work done by students and staff in Law at Dundee,” said Professor Stuart Cross, from the Law School at Dundee.

“The Guardian rankings strongly reflect levels of student satisfaction, which of course have been high across the board at Dundee. They also focus on graduate employment, where we are scoring highly thanks to producing graduates who are well equipped to work across the legal sector from the minute they leave the University.”
