In pictures… head of US consulate addresses Aberdeen law students

Ms Wong addressed US and Aberdeen University students attending the university’s annual Baltimore and Maryland Summer School at King’s College.

As head of the consulate, Ms Wong is responsible for all American citizen services in Scotland and for promoting the US-Scotland relationship.

Dave Lorimer, research student, said: “Ms Wong provided some enlightening and knowledgeable insights into interdisciplinary and commercial ties between the US and the local area, ranging from Aberdeen’s contribution to the development of subsea engineering in the oil and gas industry to the connections between bourbon and whisky in the drinks industry.”
