In the 20th anniversary year of the Scotland Act 1998 and the Human Rights Act 1998, what have we learned and what are the next steps in Scotland’s human rights journey?

Join us in Glasgow on the 14th of November to mark twenty years of the Human Rights Act and reflect on the potential of the next twenty years.

A full day conference consisting of keynote speeches, panels and plenary discussions to provide a forum for generating new research questions of value to legal practice, for participative debate on past and future challenges and possibilities, and to engage with the work of the First Minister’s Advisory Group on Human Rights Leadership.

Speakers will include First Minister Nicola Sturgeon MSP, Right. Hon. Lord Wallace QC and Lord Advocate James Wolffe QC.
