David Swanney Joins Compass Chambers

Compass Chambers has welcomed David Swanney as its newest member after he called to the bar today.

Mr Swanney comes to the bar after nine years as a solicitor at Simpson and Marwick and, more recently, Digby Brown.

As a solicitor his main area of practice was in personal injury with a particular emphasis on road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, public liability and industrial disease cases.

Compass Chambers practice manager Gavin Herd said: “We are delighted that David has chosen to join us. He was very highly regarded as a solicitor and I’m sure that will lead to him developing a successful practice as an advocate. David will bring further strength to the Compass reparation team and we wish him all the best with his career at the bar.”
