Alan McLean QC of Hastie Stable has qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
The qualification process involves passing rigorous academic courses on arbitration law and practice (covering both Scottish and international arbitration), an examination involving the preparation of an international arbitral award, and a peer interview with experts from the Institute.
