Thompsons Solicitors opens new Dundee office

Thompsons Solicitors has announced the opening of a new office in Dundee, to be run by newly-promoted associate Eilish Lindsay.

The firm said the expansion was well-timed due to Dundee’s “exciting renaissance”, and the new office is near the city’s new V&A museum.

Ms Lindsay will carry on the firm’s work in specialist personal injury law, industrial disease cases, employmetn law and wills and powers of attorney.

She said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be part of this new venture at such an exciting time for both the firm and for the city of Dundee.

“The location of the office is fantastic being right in the heart of the regeneration of the city and we’re confident that this new expansion of Thompsons will be a huge success. I look forward to meeting and helping as many new clients as possible.”

Partner Andrew Henderson, who oversaw the acquisition of the new office, said: “We see this as a very significant move for Thompsons as we continue to expand to the firm new areas of Scotland. Dundee’s regeneration has been well documented and the location of the new office is very significant.

“In Eilish Lindsay we have one of Scotland’s most talented solicitors who more than deserves her promotion and she has the full confidence of the partners that she will make a huge success of our new office.”
