New partners at Aberdein Considine

Aberdein Considine has boosted the strength of its finance and banking litigation team with the appointment of two senior lawyers from Ascent Performance Group.

Myra Scott has joined the firm as partner and head of the lender services practice group. Ms Scott was previously director of legal services at Ascent and specialises in asset and debt recovery.She has over 20 years’ experience dealing with high profile banking cases, particularly defended actions, as well as managing issues in a range of lending practice areas including property, litigation, title rectification, fraud, regulatory and mortgage matters.

Laura Browne, formerly a senior associate at Ascent, also joins the firm as a partner. Ms Browne specialises in defended actions, the resolution of complex mortgage disputes, property litigation and professional negligence claims.

She also has over 20 years’ experience in the lender services field, and regularly advises leading UK institutions on recovery strategies and key projects.
