What to expect
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable Commercial Property team, where you will work on high-quality, varied projects across Scotland and the UK. Our team regularly advise developers, investors, lenders, public institutions, hospitality and retail clients, banks, landowners and a range of other businesses across Scotland and the UK. You can expect to work on a range of transactions including:
- Acquisitions & Disposals: Advising on the purchase and sale of commercial properties, ensuring smooth and successful transactions for our clients.
- Investment & Development: Guiding clients through complex development projects, from planning and financing to construction and sale.
- Commercial Leasing and Asset Management: Managing leases and property portfolios for clients in various sectors, providing strategic advice to maximise value.
- Property Finance: Structuring and negotiating finance arrangements for commercial property transactions, working closely with lenders and borrowers.
What we’re looking for
- Experience: We are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor with around 1 – 6 years PQE. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience, but some commercial property experience is essential. Whether you have a broad background or are looking to specialize in a particular area, we offer the opportunity and support to develop your expertise.
- Proactive and Client-Focused: You should have a proactive approach, putting the client’s needs first and striving to deliver exceptional service.
- Communication and Negotiation: Strong communication and negotiation skills are crucial, as you will be dealing with a wide range of clients and stakeholders.
- Team Player: While you will need to be able to work independently, you will also be part of a collaborative team where sharing knowledge and supporting each other is key.
