Solicitor – Personal Injury
We are currently looking to attract a newly qualified junior solicitor to join our highly regarded insurance litigation team in our Glasgow office.
Our insurance customers include 15 of the top 20 top UK insurers, along with leading brokers, MGAs, loss adjusters and other intermediaries. From our offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh we provide advice on all aspects of insurance risk management within the Scottish jurisdiction to our insurer, corporate and broker customers. This includes the provision of claims management solutions, litigation handling and liability and quantum assessments.
The caseload for this role will involve handling employer’s liability, public liability and motor claims. Day to day duties can include handling cases from start to finish, carrying out investigations into liability and quantum, obtaining precognitions, reporting to clients and dealing with all procedural aspects of a file. The position offers the candidate the opportunity to regularly appear in court. There will also be the opportunity to assist senior colleagues with high value and complex cases.
We are keen to hear from candidates with the ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically, together with proficient IT skills who are due to qualify this year.
