New year, new you. An exciting opportunity to join World-Changing Glasgow!
The University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of the top 100 universities in the world. While international in outlook, and with a global reach, it remains grounded in its local community. As those familiar with Glasgow’s leafy West End will know, the University is undertaking an exciting campus redevelopment to further enhance its world class research and teaching environment.
Working as part of a busy in-house legal and contracts team and reporting to Head of Legal, the successful candidate will draft, review, negotiate, and finalise a wide range of contracts with other academic institutions, government and other public bodies, commercial entities, and individuals, as well as providing a broad range of legal advice and support to colleagues across the University.
We are looking for a motivated, proactive individual, capable of providing high quality contractual and legal advice to academic and other university staff.
Strong contract drafting skills are essential. In addition, the successful candidate should be comfortable dealing with people at all levels across the business, be committed to building strong relationships, be able to work well both independently and as part of a team and be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the HE sector.
