Wide range of legal updates delivered at the SYLA Civil Day Conference 2015

The event was chaired by Digby Brown chief executive Fraser Oliver.

Speakers included Stephen O’Connor and Stella Smith, from the Scottish government, who discussed expenses and the funding of civil litigation.

Laura Dunlop QC lectured on advocacy skills, in particular dealing with challenging witnesses.

William Cameron of Scott + Co (pictured) gave attendees an update on service and diligence and regaled them with some interesting incidents of debt enforcement.
