Terra Firma ranked in five practice categories in latest edition of Chambers & Partners

Terra Firma Chambers has retained its Band 1 rankings for Planning and Environmental Law, Agriculture & Rural Affairs and Tax in the latest edition of Chambers and Partners UK Legal Directory with additional rankings this year for Private Client and Real Estate Litigation.

It is also, once again, the only stable at the Scottish bar acknowledged for its members’ expertise in respect of Licensing, with James Findlay QC, Scott Blair and Robert Skinner each receiving Band 1 rankings.

New rankings were received for Ewen Brown in Real Estate Litigation and Scott Blair for Civil Liberties. Derek Francis, Roddy Macleod and Gordon Watt all received rankings in the new Private Client category.

“Recognised as one of the premier experts in Scotland for planning”, Alasdair Burnet QC “has the ear of the court”, and is ranked in four categories, as is “all-round impressive”. James Findlay QC (in addition to rankings in three areas for his work at the English Bar). “Very diligent” and “very experienced” Scott Blair is ranked in three categories.

In total, 19 members received 30 individual rankings for their expertise in Administrative & Public Law, Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Civil Liberties & Human Rights, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Company, Employment, Immigration, Licensing, Planning & Environment, Private Client, Product Liability, Real Estate Litigation, Restructuring/Insolvency and Tax.
