Scottish Legal News is pleased to report that we have had some excellent feedback from our Lawyers of Tomorrow feature which we ran last year.

Several graduates who took part secured much coveted traineeships.

The Lawyers of Tomorrow feature will resume later this year and we urge those seeking traineeships to take part in what is a free-of-charge opportunity to reach all of Scotland’s law firms.

SLN editor Graham Ogilvy said: “It is very encouraging to hear of these positive outcomes. There was a great take-up of our Lawyers of Tomorrow feature last year and I would urge those seeking a traineeship to become involved later this year.

“This a useful service not only for the lawyers of tomorrow but also for small to medium-sized law firms unable to devote resources to attending university careers fairs.”

The Lawyers of Tomorrow feature is one of several initiatives undertaken by SLN to support Scotland’s legal community.

Scottish Legal News also supports the work of SCOLAG and the Scottish Young Lawyers Association, as well as sponsoring Tumbling Lassie events and the Dundee Faculty Dinner.
