Counter-fraud specialist Jill Sinclair was named Scotland’s lawyer of the year. Ms Sinclair, 37, heads up the counter-fraud operation for DWF north of the border and advises its insurance clients across the UK.

Professor Lorne Crerar, one of the two founding partners of Harper Macleod and the firm’s chairman was given the Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of a long and distinguished career in law.
Shepherd and Wedderburn won Corporate and Commercial Team of the Year. Partner Stephen Trombala said: “It’s a great honour that the hard work and commitment of the team and the success our clients have enjoyed has been recognised by our professional peers. In particular, it is a tremendous validation of our team’s distinct approach and of the investment we have made to enhance the tailored service we provide to our clients.”
Livingstone Brown was awarded Criminal Law Firm of the Year and Family Law Firm of the Year 2019.
