A man has been banned from calling an emergency number after making over 100 calls asking for milk or help finding his TV remote.

William Baccus, 62, has now been charged with abuse of the emergency number and is facing arrest in Cobb County, in the US state of Georgia.

Mr Baccus made up to 118 calls to 911, WSB-TV reports.

Fire chief Randy Crider said: “It does put other people in unnecessary danger, that could potentially need our service in a true emergency.”
