New corporate partner appointed to Aberdein Considine’s Glasgow office

Aberdein Considine has appointed new partner Michael Currie to its Glasgow office. Mr currie was previously head of corporate at Dallas McMillan.

He is dual qualified in Scotland and England and Wales and has worked in both jurisdictions including for international law firms. He specialises in general corporate advisory and transactional legal work in a broad range of sectors, including healthcare, financial services, property and renewables.

Mr Currie’s recent deals include acting for the selling shareholders of two different financial services companies in Glasgow and Edinburgh to the English consolidator Succession Group, the purchase by a French investment fund of a Scottish based renewables company and an EIS fundraising by a Scottish sports software start-up.

Aberdein Considine has also appointed a new business development director, Graeme Ross. He was part of the RBS commercial banking team in Scotland for 14 years before joining accountancy firm Anderson, Anderson and Brown LLP.
