Morisons Solicitors has welcomed three new appointments to the firm.

Stephen Clark joins the business team as a senior associate in Edinburgh, Jacqueline Tainsh joins as a senior solicitor in the private client team, and George Paschakis has been appointed marketing executive.

Mr Clark, who joins from MBM Commercial, specialises in corporate, commercial, investments, private equity, start-ups and spin-outs, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and IP.

He is dual-qualified as a solicitor in Scotland and in England and Wales, and holds a Masters in IT and Telecommunications Law.

Ms Tainsh, previously with Harper Macleod, will specialise on working with adults with incapacity, wills, executries and powers of attorney.

She is an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a member of the Scottish Law Agents Society and the Young Lawyers Association.

Mr Paschakis, formerly with One Accounting for five years and the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, is a graduate of Northumbria and Central Lancashire Universities.

Peter Duff, managing partner at Morisons, said: “Stephen, Jacqueline and George bring a strong talent bank to the firm and their experience will help strengthen our growth plans for both the Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.”
