Millar & Bryce hits the road with fourth conveyancing manual

Land and property search firm Millar & Bryce is launching their fourth conveyancing manual this summer. The manual will provide an introduction into basic Scottish conveyancing with a series of roadshows taking place across the country.

The roadshows will address what we can expect in the future of conveyancing and broadly look at what has changed in recent years. Millar & Bryce’s latest appointment John King, Principal

Consultant will provide his key insights and knowledge alongside other guest speakers.

The series of shows will take place across eight Scottish venues including Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow with new additions in Inverness, Stirling, Melrose and Dumfries.

The manual aims to provide a resource for all conveyancers, no matter what stage of their profession they’re at.

Richard Hepburn, manging director of Millar & Bryce, said: “We’re delighted to be launching our fourth manual with a series of roadshows. Over the years we have aimed to provide practitioners and students alike with a go to guide where they can gain a better understanding of some of the issues we face in day-to-day conveyancing.

A question and answer session with the experts will also be open for all those attending.

  • 8th June 2018 – Edinburgh featuring Clare Tasker, The Coal Authority
  • 19th June 2018 – Inverness featuring Mark Taylor, Argyll Environmental
  • 20th June 2018 – Aberdeen/ Dundee featuring Mark Taylor and Elizabeth Comerford, University of Dundee
  • 26th June 2018 – Stirling – Guest speaker TBC
  • 27th June 2018 – Glasgow featuring Clare Tasker and Debra Clapham of Claphams Solicitors
  • 28th June 2018 – Melrose/ Dumfries

Ticket admission includes refreshments plus a copy of ‘An Introduction to Basic Scottish Conveyancing’. Prices vary depending on which venue your attending.
