Jacqueline Cook joins Davidson Chalmers as new planning director

Davidson Chalmers has appointed Jacqueline Cook as its new planning director. She will play a lead role advising clients on planning-related matters, working alongside colleagues within the firm’s specialist teams including commercial property, construction, residential development, renewables and environment.

Ms Cook joins from the planning law team at Pinsent Masons where she advised a diverse portfolio of clients including developers, local and national government, public bodies, statutory undertakers and funders.

A dual-qualified legal professional, she spent four years training and qualifying with Herbert Smith before moving to Edinburgh in 2008 to join Shepherd & Wedderburn.
