Five new partners and associate for McClure Naismith

RobinshannanMcClure Naismith has appointed five new partners and one new associate based in the firm’s Scottish and London offices.

The new partners are: Colin Brown and Robert Binning(real estate, Edinburgh); E-Ming Fong and Suzanne McGarrigle (dispute resolution, Edinburgh); Nils Reid(commercial and financial services, London). Lewis Kemp is promoted to associate (dispute resolution, Edinburgh).

Mr Brown and Mr Binning specialise in real estate investment and management, cross border real estate transactions and property finance.

Mr Brown also has significant experience in agricultural acquisitions and disposals.

Ms Fong is a commercial litigator widely regarded for her expertise in resolving contractual disputes; Ms McGarrigle is experienced in all areas of dispute resolution associated with personal injury and in particular employer liability and industrial disease claims.

Mr Reid advises corporate clients on a range of corporate finance issues including equity and debt capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and acts for a number of entrepreneurial, growing companies, while Mr Kemp advises on liability insurance and commercial dispute resolution.

All promotions are internal, reflecting the firm’s policy of supporting and enabling progression from trainee to partner level.
