The Signet Library
The WS Society presents Dibdin’s Paradise of Bokes: Tour of the Signet Library and exhibition of its treasures.
Af free tour of the Signet Library followed by an exhibition of treasures selected from the Library’s collections, including examples of early Scottish printing, ephemera relating to the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion, manuscripts (including works by Sir Walter Scott and Sir Henry Cockburn), court papers from the trials of Deacon Brodie and William Burke, and more.
The tour will last 45 minutes. Please note that there is no step-free access, and both the tour and exhibition involve staircases. Admission is free, but places are limited and must be booked in advance – there will be no tickets on the door.
