Contract: 9 months fixed-term (maternity cover)
An opportunity has arisen for a specialist Family Lawyer to join our Glasgow team on a fixed-term basis. The role is open to part or full time candidates from NQ to a senior level.
Our Divorce and Family team provides advice on all aspects of separation, divorce, cohabitation and issues arising from relationship breakdown, whether of a financial nature or concerning the care of children, in addition to asset protection work including prenuptial, postnuptial and cohabitation agreements.
Your work would involve advising on various issues which may arise on separation, negotiating settlements on our clients‘ behalf, and attending court as required. The successful candidate will also handle the preparation of prenuptial, post nuptial and cohabitation agreements. You would be expected to have a sound knowledge of Scottish family law and be able to handle a wide variety of challenging work with minimum supervision.
In providing advice to clients, you will work with other private client experts to ensure that fully integrated holistic advice is given to our clients.

The successful candidate at NQ level will have at least six months Family Law experience during their traineeship. For PQ1 plus a minimum of eighteen months experience is required.
