TC Young are looking to recruit an experienced property solicitor for our Edinburgh office. The successful candidate will report to the property partner in Edinburgh, and due to the volume of work within the department there will be a requirement to manage a large and varied caseload within a very busy department.
This role is ideally full-time but consideration may be given to exceptional candidates who are interested in working part time, with a minimum of 28 hours per week being worked.

What we are looking for… the successful candidate will have the following:
- At least 5 years commercial property and development acquisition experience
- Be capable of ‘hitting the ground running’
- Be able to work under pressure
- An ability to be adaptable and to prioritise and manage their case load effectively
- Be able to meet client deadlines.
The role will involve working with RSL’s so it would also be advantageous for the successful candidate to have some experience of housing association work.
Reliable with excellent attention to detail, you will be working in a team where there will be extensive client contact. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to quickly understand a client’s requirements and tailor advice accordingly.
