CLT Scotland, in association with the University of Strathclyde, has launched the first event in the Scots Law 2018 Conference/Exhibition Series. Taking place at the Glasgow Hilton on 19th & 20th March, delegates will be able to choose from 10 individual conferences, each providing 6 hours of CPD.
Roy Spiers, CLT Scotland’s director of programmes, said: “Our Scots Law Conference/Exhibition Series is now firmly established in the legal calendar and we are delighted to return to Glasgow in March after another successful event at BT Murrayfield last month.”
Programme highlights include a keynote speech at the Elderly Client Conference from the Public Guardian, Sandra McDonald; Frances McMenamin QC speaking on sexual offences at the Criminal Law Conference; and a presentation at the GDPR and Data Protection Conference from Maureen Falconer from the Information Commissioner’s Office.
The 10 individual conferences at the event will cover the subject areas of Conveyancing, Personal Injury, Contract Law, Licensing, Family Law, Corporate, Commercial Property, GDPR & Data Protection, Criminal and Elderly Client. All bookings received on or before 20th December will attract an advanced offer price starting from £125 plus VAT.
