A couple of Amazon customers were left baffled after plastic bins they ordered from the online superstore showed up filled with cannabis.
The pair, who have chosen to remain anonymous, ordered four 27-gallon storage bins that should have arrived empty, but were instead carrying a grand total of 65 pounds of the illegal drug.
They promptly called police officers, who were equally confused.
One of the customers, who live in eastern Florida, told WFTV: “When the first officer got here, she was in disbelief.”
The pair didn’t sleep in their house “for a few days” for fear that drug dealers would break in to reclaim their merchandise.
As for Amazon, the Internet giant sent them a $150 gift card and said the company was “unable to do anything else at this time”. The company is reportedly working with police to solve the case.
