Join a great team, in a forward thinking company which offers excellent career progression opportunities.
This is an exciting time for a highly motivated Solicitor to join our team as we are actively growing this area of our business and you will have the opportunity to work closely with Partners who are renowned for their depth of knowledge and expertise.
Ideally you will have experience in Conveyancing and it may be beneficial to have experience in Commercial Law but this is not a prerequisite. You will have an ambition to train and develop professionally in the Rural property arena. Our team provides advice on all aspects of rural transactions. As well as handling the purchase and sale of farms and rural properties, we offer a full service of agricultural based commercial transactions including advice on agricultural tenancies, farming partnerships, other property, forestry and environmental issues. We also give advice on all aspects of telecoms, renewable energy developments including wind farms, hydro power and biomass.
Your key responsibilities will be to provide first class advice to estate owners, farmers, owners and occupiers of rural property, property developers and renewable energy developers on sales, purchases, leases and other arrangements relating to the ownership and management of land and the environment. Our ultimate aim is that with appropriate guidance and training you will assist the rural estates team by handling a wide variety of varied and challenging work with minimum supervision. You will ensure the delivery of your own and your team’s targets through providing a first class, client centred service and generate business through personal business development.
Cupar is ideally located as a rural base for our agricultural team with good train and road links. We act for a wealth of diverse clients throughout Scotland which gives our solicitors the opportunity to develop high level technical skills.
An ambitious rural practitioner will have the opportunity to quickly create valuable relationships and be part of an established team with a reputation for providing specialist rural advice.
